Sanatçı Hakkında
İnci Tarakçıoğlu, Eskişehir’de doğdu. Yaşamı boyunca resim yapmasına rağmen, sistemli resim eğitimine 1980 yılında üniversite profesörlerinden özel ders alarak başladı. Kurşun kalem desen, yağlıboya, acrylic tekniğinin yanı sıra uzun yıllar suluboya tekniği ile resim yaptı. Son dönemde genellikle akrilik tekniğiyle çalışmaktadır.
Tarakçıoğlu’nun eserlerinde ışık, koyu değerler ve renk kontrasları belirgindir. Üretim sürecinde plastik kaygıların ön planda tutulduğu ve malzemenin olanakları doğrultusunda elde edilen dokusal zenginlik, benimsenen tema disiplininden uzaklaşmadan ifadenin vurgulandığı ve fantastik mekan kurguları eşliğinde temanın iç dünya tasarımları ile bütünleştirildiği gözlemlenmektedir. Sanatçı son dönem çalışmalarında nü’ler üzerinde yoğunlaşmaktadır.
Who is Who Türkiye Ansiklopedisinin 2008 senesi baskısında yer alan Tarakçıoğlu, Uluslar Arası Plastik Sanatlar Derneği, Ankara Ressamlar Derneği, İzmir Suluboya Sanatçıları Derneği ve Uluslar Arası İzmir Suluboya Ressamları Derneği üyesidir.
Sanatçıya 2004 yılında “Vedide Baha Pars- Başarılı Kadın Önderi” ödülü verilmiş , 2007 yılında “İzmir Dostu” ve “İzmir’de Yılın Sanatçısı” seçilmiştir. 2011 Yılında Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts/Paris’te eğitime katılarak incelemelerde bulunan İ. Tarakçıoğlu, çalışmalarına İzmir’de kendi atölyesinde devam etmektedir.

İnci TARAKÇIOĞLU
She started her studies on art at Cahit Atmaca workshop in 1980. Improved her skills at other workshops owned by Prof.Dr Cuma Ocaklı, Doç. Dr. Yavuz Seçkin, Serdar Leblebici. Her reign over pigments and water, with applying her colorful personality and enthusiastic spiritualism to her works, she studied water color (acquerelle) for long years. Within these years she also continued her oil paint and acrylic works. Recently she gave weight to acrylic technique.
Light, darkness and color contrasts are significant in the paintings of İnci Tarakcıoğlu. Artist studied on cats for about five years, reflected their friendly laziness, acrimony free and rompy characters. Generally, in the production period of the cat theme, you can see the reflections of the emphasized plastic concerns, stressed gestures and fantastic fiction spaces.
As an extension of accomplishing, the hard and dynamic water color with success, the technique facing some changes was a bearer to new forms ( like oil paint and acrylic) In this period of her studies, gaining the textural richness with the specialty of the material, she converged her minds interior designs without moving away from the discipline borders of the theme.
She intensified nudes and bodies in the last period of her studies. Light, highlighting attracts attention without taking apart the basic theme from the classic lines.
İnci Tarakçıoğlu is the member of Ankara Artists Society and İzmir Water Color Artists Society and has been honored with the “Vedide Baha Pars Successful Woman Leader” in 2004 by the Turkish Success Award Assembly.
For the contributions of the social and artistic developments of İzmir where she lives, she was chosen as “The Artist of the Year” and “The Friend of İzmir” by the İzmir Cultural Art and Social Cooperation Platform in 2007.
İnci Tarakçıoğlu opened personal exhibitions in Ankara Turkey Artists Council Dedeman Art Gallery, İzmir Coşku Art Gallery, İzmir French Cultural Association Art Gallery, Doğuş Holding İzmir Audi Art Gallery, Brille in Holland, Galerie “De Vuije Vaetdoek” and joined the integrated exhibitions in İzmir, Eskişehir, Antalya Government Academy of Fine Arts Galleries, İzmir Turkish American Association Art Gallery, İzmir Art and Statue Museum, İzmir Atatürk Cultural Centre, Greece and Chios, Çeşme/ Alaçatı Art Gallery, Çeşme Church Art Gallery. She was invited to “Aegean Countries Presentation Fair” in Ankara, Atatürk Cultural Center. In 2006 she joined the first Aegean Art Fair and opened her personal exhibition there. She exhibited her last works at İstanbul Moda Sea Club Art Gallery in 2007 and in 2008 İnci Tarakçıoğlu attended to the second of Aegean Art Fair. She put in an appearance in the encyclopedia of Turkiye 2008 edition.
The artist attended to a training program at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts/Paris at 2011 and also made research studies there. She currently keeps working in her own workshop in İzmir.
